Planet Earth: Sustainable Film Production in the Canary Islands
We are committed to eco-friendly production. Since 2017, Fixer Canary Islands has steadily reduced our environmental impact across every project.

LOCATIONS MANAGEMENT
We minimize our carbon footprint by grouping and optimizing shoot locations, this reduces both travel time and production vehicles on set.
PLASTIC REDUCTION
We’ve phased out single-use plastic bottles. Teams now use 8L water tanks, personal aluminum bottles, or recycled/recyclable cans.
GREEN ENERGY COMMITMENT
Fossil fuel generators are replaced with clean energy alternatives, electric and solar powered units, on all of our shoots.
LOCAL SOURCING
We prioritize local, seasonal catering and short supply chains (“circuit court”) to further reduce emissions and support local communities.
LOW CARBON TEAMS
Our bilingual local crews and modern technical equipment significantly lower the carbon footprint for European clients.
BETTER WORK LIFE BALANCE
Since 2023, administrative teams benefit from a 4-day workweek with telecommuting options—improving productivity while reducing travel emissions.
